Frequently asked questions
How long does a repair take?
Many battery replacements take about 15 minutes. A screen repair usually takes 60 minutes and iPad glass repairs about 2 hours. The current duration is shown with each service.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We work by appointment only, allowing us to reserve enough time and check parts availability in advance.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all consumer prices shown include VAT. If additional damage is found, you receive a quote first.
What warranty do I receive?
We provide a 3-month commercial warranty on the repair and installed part, without limiting your statutory rights. Damage caused by drops, moisture or improper use is not covered.
Will I lose my data?
A normal screen or battery replacement does not usually erase data. Always make a backup beforehand. Never share your Apple ID password through the contact form.
What is the difference between original quality and aftermarket?
Where both options are available for your model, we list original quality and aftermarket separately, each with its own price.
Original quality: this option aims for a screen experience that matches your device’s initial specifications. Think colour, contrast, brightness and touch response. For recent iPhones, these are always OLED screens.
Aftermarket: a compatible alternative from another manufacturer, considerably more affordable and certainly not a bad choice! An aftermarket screen often has slightly lower maximum brightness. These are often LCD screens.
iOS may also display an unknown-part message. In some cases, this happens as soon as the iPhone detects a screen that was not paired with it at the factory. The original quality label therefore does not guarantee the absence of a message. It initially appears once or twice; afterwards, you may sometimes still find it buried deep in the settings menus.
Which option is right for you? If a screen experience as close as possible to that of your device matters most to you, consider original quality. If a lower price is your priority, an aftermarket screen could be the perfect choice for you.
Can I pay with the Mechelenbon?
Yes, the Mechelenbon is accepted for iPhone repairs. Other payment methods are confirmed with the appointment.
Can I cancel?
You can cancel using your personal management link. For a late cancellation, reserved parts or demonstrable costs may be charged in accordance with the terms.
